Dijets validators

Dijets validators are responsible for securing the Dijets Primary Network and its Child Chains, creating new blocks/vertices, and processing transactions. Validators achieve consensus by repeatedly sampling each other, and the probability that a given validator is sampled is proportional to its stake.

Validators play a crucial role in maintaining the security and integrity of the Dijets network. They are responsible for validating transactions and creating new blocks, which are added to the blockchain. Validators are incentivized to perform their duties correctly and efficiently, as they receive rewards for their work.

When you add a node to the validator set, you need to specify your node’s ID, when you want to start and stop validating, how many DJT you are staking, the address to send any rewards to, and your delegation fee rate. For Council Members, the staking amount is 25,000 DJT and the delegation fee rate must be set at 1.33%.

Validators are an essential part of the Dijets ecosystem, and they help to ensure that the network remains secure and reliable.
